On this trip to Playa El Doradillo, we'll visit one of the best stargazing and whale-watching spots in Patagonia for a magical experience underneath the stars!
If you love all things astronomy and nature, you've come to the right place. We'll start this experience by picking you up from your hotel in Puerto Madryn and heading towards one of the most beautiful beaches in Patagonia: El Doradillo.
As soon as we arrive, and before night falls, we'll go to the shore to admire the whales that swim near the coast of El Doradillo. Many of these sea creatures stay in the area to breed and nurse their young. In addition, if we're lucky, we'll see other animals that inhabit the area, among them rheas, foxes and guanacos.
After our time spotting whales, we'll go to one of the astronomical observatories at Playa El Doradillo. From there, while we admire the constellations and nebulae, we'll talk about the link between the indigenous Tehuelche peoples' world view and astronomy. You'll be surprised by their philosophies!
Finally, we'll head back to Puerto Madryn and say goodbye at your hotel after a total of 6 together.
