Join us for a journey from San Martin de los Andes to discover two picturesque towns of Argentine Patagonia. We'll explore a castle, enjoy stunning views from a viewpoint, and ride along the famous Seven Lakes Road!
We'll pick you up at your San Martin de los Andes hotel at 8:30 am and leave the city for National Route 234. During our 90-minute drive through 115 kilometers (71.5 miles) of pristine forest and crystal-clear rivers, we'll travel along the famous Seven Lakes Road, passing by Lakes Machónico, Falkner, Villarino, Escondido, Correntoso, Espejo and Nahuel Huapi.
At noon, we'll arrive at our first destination, Villa La Angostura, where we'll walk along the port and visit the El Messidor Residence, a stunning French-style castle surrounded by nature. You'll have some free time to enjoy lunch on your own before we head back to Seven Lakes Road.
On our way back, we'll pass by the Espejo and Correntoso lakes again and take the detour to Villa Traful. We'll walk through the center of this mountain village, with its deep-rooted traditions, and explore a coihue forest.
Last but not least, we'll visit the Mirador del Viento, a 70-meter-high (225-foot) cliff that offers a unique panoramic view of the Patagonian landscape. We'll return to San Martin de los Andes at 7 pm and accompany you back to your accommodation.
