Enjoy a day of hiking and swimming in natural pools on our San Miguel Day Trip. We'll leave Tingo María behind and spend an unforgettable day immersed in Peruvian nature.
At 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Tingo María and head to San Miguel in the province of Pachitea. During the journey, which will take around 1 hour, we'll pass through some of the villages in the Peruvian plains, such as Cayumba and Chinchavito.
When we get to San Miguel, we'll set off on a hike through the jungle. We'll cross streams, creeks and tropical vegetation. After an hour's walk through the Amazon, we'll come to the San Miguel Waterfall. This waterfall is one of the most famous in the Huánuco region due to its height, as it towers at 650 feet (200 metres) high.
You'll have some free time in this beautiful spot to take pictures, swim in the natural pool formed by the waterfall or go sport fishing, as this area has lots of fish.
After taking a relaxing dip in the waterfall, we'll walk back to San Miguel and return to Tingo Maria. Our arrival at your hotel is scheduled for 3 pm.
