Once we've all arrived, we'll venture into this town's streets while we discuss the history and charms of the ancient Iulia Concordia. Did you know that it was founded by the Romans in 42 BC? The intersection between Via Annia and Via Postumia was selected strategically as this was where an important river port of the Lemene River was located.
Throughout the tour, we'll discover the remains of Roman houses, thermal baths, and the original layouts of the main communication routes of the time. We'll also see medieval buildings and monuments perfectly preserved, among which the cathedral of Saint Stephen Protomartyr and the baptistery are real highlights.
