Between 4 am and 5 am we'll pick you up at your hotel in Pucallpa and drive by minibus to the district of Curimaná.
After a two-hour drive, we'll change means of transport and take a pleasant boat ride on the Aguaytia River. Some sections will require your cooperation, especially in the summer months, when the river flow is lower. We'll have to get out of the boat and push the canoes slightly downstream. It'll be fun!
We'll sail for an hour until we reach the hamlet of Bello Horizonte, located in the middle of the Peruvian jungle. Here we'll stop to rest and have breakfast on your own.
Once we have regained our strength, we'll return to the boats and continue our journey along the river until we reach the starting point of the trekking route to the Regalía waterfalls. Are you ready for an adventure?
During 40 minutes, we'll cross the lush jungle admiring and identifying the different specimens of the local wildlife that we'll find along the way. We'll also learn about the medicinal properties of many of the plants in this area as we approach the majestic Regalia Falls.
Once we arrive at our destination, we'll leave you with four hours of free time to have lunch surrounded by these waterfalls which, for many, are the most beautiful waterfalls in Peru. We recommend that you bring something to eat on the day of the excursion.
You can also take a dip in the water, jump into the pools from a height of 6 metres (19.6 feet) and relax listening to the sound of the water and the birds singing.
We'll meet again and get into the boats, which will take us to meet the minibus. We'll finish the activity at 6 pm, leaving you back at your hotel.
