Feel the adrenaline rush while rafting on the Juramento River. You’ll take on the rapids of this fast-flowing river, one of the main waterways in the province of Salta.
Activity Details
At the scheduled time, we’ll meet on the banks of the Juramento River to enjoy a rafting experience that will get your adrenaline pumping. Ready to tackle the rapids?
We’ll begin with a short safety briefing at a riverside camp. After the talk, we’ll put on helmets and life jackets and head out onto the water in the rafts. During this rafting activity on the Juramento River, which lasts approximately 2 hours, you’ll navigate 10 Class III rapids and 5 Class II rapids. An unforgettable experience!
You’ll also pass through the spectacular Juramento River canyon, whose rocks, over 65 million years old, contain numerous prehistoric fossils. The 12-kilometer (7.5 miles) descent through the rapids ends at a spot known as Los Lapachos. From there, you’ll return to the camp, where you can share experiences and relax after this thrilling adventure.
Finally, after 3.5 hours of fun, the activity will come to an end at the meeting point.
