Join us for a ride through the yungas forests surrounding the city of Salta on this horseback route through the San Lorenzo Natural Reserve. The perfect activity for nature lovers!

San Lorenzo Natural Reserve Horseback Riding

After picking you up at your hotel in Salta at the time of your choice, we'll take you by minibus to a stable located on the outskirts of the city.

Upon arrival, we'll greet our new travel companions and get all the riding equipment ready. Then it'll be time to start our horseback ride through the yungas jungle of the San Lorenzo Natural Reserve, one of the main protected areas of the province of Salta.

We'll ride through different trails of the reserve, following one route or another depending on your riding experience. During the activity, we'll also learn about some aspects of the fauna of the San Lorenzo Gorge. The yungas jungle is an ecosystem of great biodiversity, which serves as a habitat for numerous specimens of wild cats, weasels, foxes and other species.

As we continue our horseback ride along other trails of the San Lorenzo reserve, we'll admire the ravine and green jungle landscapes. Did you know that this area of yungas is part of the World Network of Biosphere Reserves?

Finally, we'll return to the stable and, after saying goodbye to the horses, we'll return by minibus to Salta. Arrival at your hotel is scheduled about four hours after pickup.
