Tour Details
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Pucallpa at the time of your choice and set sail for the port of Callao.
As soon as we reach the shore, we'll board a traditional wooden boat called a peke peke and start sailing on Lake Yarinacocha while admiring the Amazonian flora. Did you know that legend has it this reservoir was formed by the tears of a mermaid who fell madly in love with a human?
On this trip, we'll visit San Francisco, one of the indigenous Shipibo-Conibo populations settled on the shores of the lake. After learning about their culture, we'll visit the Caserío 11 de Agosto to see their handmade items and traditional clothing.
Afterwards, we'll walk along the camu camu route. Finally, we'll make a short visit to the boulevard of Yarinacocha and return to your hotel in Pucallpa, where we'll conclude this 4-hour excursion.
