At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Pucallpa to being this fascinating adventure. Ready to immerse yourself in the Peruvian jungle?
Firstly, we'll make our way to the Plaza de Reloj Público, where we'll hop onto a peque peque, a traditional type of canoe. All aboard!
Once we're in the water, we'll cross the Ucayali River, and we'll enter the Pucallpillo Lagoon and the caño Chanajao. Along the way, which depending on the riverbed will last between 1.5 and 2 hours, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the Amazon rainforest as we navigate its waters.
After the boat ride, we'll visit the Asoconprebiocha Centre, where we'll be able to see different animals that have been saved and now live in freedom. For 40 minutes, we'll explore the rescue centre learning about the important conservation work for species such as spider monkeys, tapirs, capybaras, and many other animals from the region.
Finally, we'll begin the return journey and drop you off at your hotel after 5 hours in total.
