At the selected time, you'll need to go to the dock at the southern tip of Lago del Desierto, approximately 22 mi (37 km) from El Chaltén. Once you arrive at the meeting point, you'll board a boat and sail for 1 hour on its waters while enjoying the beautiful views.
Throughout the journey, you'll have a unique perspective of the north face of Fitz Roy and the Huemul Glacier. You won't stop taking photos! Upon arrival at the northern tip, you'll complete the formalities to leave Argentina and cross the border into Chile. Now you can enjoy Villa O'Higgins at your leisure!
