Discover the spectacular landscapes of Patagonia in a unique, fun way when you take this fantastic kayaking trip from El Chalten. You will paddle down the beautiful Vueltas River through some of Argentina's best scenery.
We'll meet at the indicated time on Avenida San Martín street or your hotel (option depending) in El Chaltén, before traveling north to the Laguna Cóndor mountain refuge. There, you will receive a brief presentation on how to use the kayaking equipment.
After the theory, then comes the practice! We will set off on our brilliant kayaking adventure along the suitably named Río de las Vueltas (Twisting River). For the next three hours, we will sail down this meandering water flow through spectacular Patagonian landscapes. The steep snowy summit of the Fitz Roy massif will dominate the backdrop.
This stunning river passes lakes, glaciers, forests, and everything that makes Patagonia so special. As you paddle you will see the natural jewels of Argentina. You will even have the chance to take pictures from the boat.
Our kayak journey concludes by returning to the refuge of the Condor Lagoon. From here, we'll take you back to El Chaltén, arriving after a total of 5 hours.
This activity includes pick up at the indicated time from hotels in the centre of El Chaltén. If you are staying in more remote areas, we will pick you up at 56 San Martín Avenue.
